Non-ferrous metal prices: still negative trend in December
Also in December, the prices of non-ferrous metals see a downward trend: the contraction in prices continues to remain constant without any hint of recovery.
European car registrations: the decline continues in November
The downward trend for the European car market continues. Based on data released by UNRAE (National Union of Foreign Motor Vehicle Representatives), 713,346 vehicles were registered in the European Union in November: a drop of 20.5% over the same period of 2020 (897,332). But a more contained contraction than last October.
In November, prices of non-ferrous metals collapse, except for nickel
As anticipated by last month’s forecasts, non-ferrous metal prices have begun to slow down their upward run. In fact, in November there was a general decline in prices, which determines a downward trend destined to accentuate.
October car registrations: new record low in Europe
The downward trend of the European automotive market continued in October. For the fourth consecutive month, in fact, registrations showed a double-digit percentage decrease: -30.3% compared to the same period of 2020 (665,001 units registered).

In September, there was a new significant decline in the trend of car registrations in Europe. The race to the bottom that began in the summer shows no signs of stopping: with 718,598 units registered in the countries of the European Union, a percentage of -23.1% is recorded compared to the same period in 2020.

Automotive market August: trend still down
During the summer months, the auto market continues to show a contraction in sales in Europe. Due to the economic difficulties linked to the pandemic emergency, registrations in July fell by 23.2% (823,949 units) compared to 2020 and by 26.4% to 2019 in the European Union, EFTA and the United Kingdom.
