CONVEYOR BELTS for architecture
MARIANItech® conveyor belts are particularly appreciated in architecture where one wants to conceal without hiding, or to add aesthetic value with coverings of surprising architectural and design appeal.
Ideal as wire cloths for facades, they are manufactured according to the same process as conveyor belts for industry. They are used as exterior cladding for administrative and commercial buildings and, increasingly, for residential architecture.
Conveyor belts clad buildings like an external skin with aesthetic and decorative functions. They are ideal for customising any façade or surface, even large ones, both vertically and horizontally.
Applications of architectural conveyor belts
Wire cloth conveyor belts are perfect for making:
- curtain walls, as a light and continuous envelope that performs all the typical functions of an external wall, made of aluminium and stainless steel, with no additional load beyond their own weight and the buoyancy of the wind.
- ventilated façades, as the external cladding of perimeter walls with a heat-insulating layer and an air space subject to natural circulation.
They can also adapt to different shapes for the creation of:
- planar facades, by means of flat rectangular and shaped wire cloths, with vertical or horizontal geometries.
- curved façades, following both concave and convex curves
- multifaceted facades, with helical or faceted development of creative, multiform and articulated surfaces.
