Wire clothes are manufactured by weaving metal wires on state-of-the-art automatic looms. These wires are categorized as warp wires, aligned parallel to the length of the fabric, and weft wires, aligned parallel to its width.
With decades of experience, and through direct collaboration with your technical department, we provide expert consultation to deliver highly customized wire clothes. These meshes are produced in a wide range of materials and optimized to meet the specific requirements of various applications, ensuring high-performance results.
For urgent projects or immediate needs, we maintain a large inventory of ready-to-ship wire clothes at our facility near Milan, which is the largest and most equipped in Europe. This service significantly reduces waiting and delivery times, preventing interruptions in productivity.
All Fratelli Mariani wire clothes can undergo additional treatments such as washing, painting, ultrasonic cleaning, and heat treatments, customized to meet diverse requirements.

Wire clothes can be woven in square, rectangular, or custom patterns. The wire thickness and weave type determine their suitability for specific applications. The plain square or rectangular weave, whether standard or twill, is the most versatile and commonly used.
Specialized Fabrics: we offer specialized fabrics designed for high stability and resistance to high pressures while delivering enhanced filtration performance. Custom patterns are also available for high-performance applications, such as filtration systems requiring increased flow rates and reduced pressure drops.
Materials: our wire clothes are primarily produced using stainless steel wires in all its variants, as well as other metal alloys, including nickel, bronze, copper, brass, Monel, Inconel, Incoloy, and duplex. Stainless steel mesh is particularly suitable for industrial applications requiring resistance to high temperatures and corrosion.
Formats: our wire clothes are available in rolls, panels, and cylinders, as well as in various heights (up to three meters) and configurations, making them ideal for integration into complex systems.
